Our Approach

Wedding planning can be the most challenging yet rewarding planning we will do in our lives. Chicagoland Photographic tries to make this process as easy as possible for you. We encourage each client to allow atleast 30 minutes to 1 hour for on location photography. The more time, the better. For weddings near downtown Chicago, it is common for clients to want photos taken in many of the famous Chicago spots. We put together customized routes for each client for better planning and peace of mind. This can be given to limo drivers, taxi drivers, etc. We do what we can to make less work for you.

Our photography style is a combination of Photojournalism and Traditional posing. We use state of the art Nikon Equipment and are up to date with all the latest computer editing software and photography techniques (Long Exposure, HDR, Depth of Field). We seek to make every shoot unique, yet take all the common photos brides look for (Bouqet, Dress, Rings, First Dance, Etc.) We carry backup lenses, camera bodies, and flash units to ensure continued coverage in the event of equipment failure.
